Top Pitchers is a great way to get an overview of the full slate of pitching options. The board provides several critical data points in one spot, including their probability of being the best option (top 2 on DraftKings), their probability of being the top play by value, or points-per-dollar (top 2 on DraftKings) and their ownership projection. From this information we can extrapolate where the best low-owned options are and which of the top options are getting too much attention. For example, if a pitcher has a 16% chance of being one of the two best options on DraftKings but he is owned at a 40% rate, he is over-exposed. A very high value rating could rescue that play if the pitcher is dramatically underpriced, but the probability of success as compared to the public ownership is the critical part of the tool. Players who rank highly by probability of success while carrying low ownership are the premium targets.
